Senses Gratification: The basic five senses to acquire knowledge are : Eyes, Ears, Nose, Tongue, and Skin or Touch.

What is Senses Gratification: The human body's five working senses are: Voice, Legs, Hands, Anus, and Genitals. Usually, people are a servant of senses and acted upon the direction of greedy senses control. As an example: the desire to always eat whether the body needs energy or not is due to lose control of the Tongue.

Why Control Senses Gratification: These senses are like a lost serpent and mind of those who are attached to sense enjoyment and material luxury are always have a baffled mind. In this material and modern world, one is working under the influence of material energy and thinking the real enjoyer under the spell of senses' gratification illusion. One trap under the control of senses are most likely to be attached to sweet words of Scripture, and many of them recommend various activities to get a place in heaven, good rebirth, power, and so on. Being a victim of senses wisdom and ignorance, one does not want anything more than enjoying the heavenly planets life. One with an indigent fund of spiritual knowledge thinks this is the only purpose of sacrifices and senses control. As a result of this one can’t make progress on the liberation, super-conscious and self-realization path.

There are many opportunities to be lost in the senses gratification; it's also believed that one who performs four months of self-punishment become eligible to drink the soma-rasav( rare Amrit to become immortal) to become eternal and life long happy. Due to the lust of senses gratification, some folks are always striving for a drop of soma-rasav to enjoy the limitless senses gratifications. They are ignorant and do not understand the real meaning of the scripture words due to dust of senses gratifications.

How to control the Senses Gratification? Mind purification work is enhancement towards senses enjoyment control. Enhancing Self-Consciousness and activating super-consciousness. Also, following activities help  Control Senses Gratification:

  • Exercise, Walk, Yoga, and Meditation.

  • Organic and Healthy Eating.

  • Practice Spiritual Living, silence, fasting, and self-control. 

  • Engagement in self-discovery, and self-realization.
